The Trabucco XPS Taperline Surfcasting SC is a 250m spool of Hi-Tec nylon with a knot-free built-in 0.57mm (approx 70lb) tapered leader. This makes for a very consistent line that casts very well on both fixed spool and multiplier reels. The lack of a leader knot gives you a very smooth line flow, particularly noticeable with a fixed spool long rod setup.
Also, it is a great help when landing a fish in weedy conditions as with no leader knot you have far better control in those crucial moments when the fish is on the edge of the surf line.
