Daiwa has Engineered their new Crossfire guided by the LT Concept of lighter, tougher reel designs utilizing state of the art composites. The new LT cuts as much as 20 per cent of the reel weight from the old Crossfire design.
The solid ABS Aluminium Spool resists flexing and distorting and is deep enough to hold plenty of nylon or braid. The heart of the reel is the cold-forged and precision milled gears. The state of the art manufacturing process optimises the meshing between the main and pinion gears. Daiwa’s innovative proprietary grease makes the Advanced Tournament Drag System (ATD) one of the smoothest on the market. The fit and finish are complete with a smart Machined Aluminium Handle that optimizes grip and provides positive torque to the main gear.
