With the XSE, Shimano have used their proven Ci4+ technology main body to give increased strength but with far less weight than the previous model, down from 645gm to just 585gm. The Shimano Ultegra 14000 XSE comes equipped with 1 extra spool and 4 line reducers. The extra spool, in combination with the 4 line reducers, allows you to fish with different types of lines and respective line capacities to suit your fishing situation. The multi-disc Instant Drag facility enables a freespool to power setting in just half a turn of the front lever.
